  1. Are you a religious organisation?
No. The content of our courses does not promote any particular belief system. What we teach is based on leading edge medical and psychological knowledge as well as ancient wisdom, without any religious or sectarian connotations.

  2. Are you related to the Inner Peace Movement?
No. We are a privately owned business which is not linked in any way to any other organisation.

  3. Do you teach meditation?
Yes, we do. In The Course in Wellbeing we teach eight different styles of meditation as well as numerous life skills. We teach meditation in a way that’s fun and easy to apply in a busy lifestyle. We’re actually so sure that we can teach anyone how to meditate successfully that we offer a full money back guarantee. It says ‘Absolutely positively more inner peace at the end of the course or your money back.’ More information on the Course in Wellbeing.

  4. Do you run casual classes?
No. All our courses are structured. We are however offering regular Free Introductory sessions, so you can check us out without any obligation.  We do offer weekly meditation sessions for graduates of the Course in Wellbeing. More information on the Free Introductory Sessions.

  5. Does meditation help anxiety?
Yes, absolutely. As long as you practice regularly, even if it’s just for a few minutes a day, you’ll find that your levels of anxiety will steadily decrease. If you’re on medication, we recommend you advise your doctor that you’re now learning how to meditate, so that your dosage can be monitored and progressively reduced. If at all possible, come to one of our Free Introductory sessions. In just 90 minutes you’ll learn why meditation works. You’ll also learn two techniques that will have an immediate effect on your wellbeing – no more panic attacks! You’ll know what to do to instantly regain control of your mind at any time.

  6. Does meditation help depression?
Yes, it does, provided you practice. See answer to Question 5 because the above comments also apply to depression. Thousands of studies have now proven that meditation has the ability to naturally re-balance the chemical and hormonal systems of the body, bringing back more energy and a sense of contentment. For example, let’s mention the hormone DHEA which is linked to ageing and wellbeing. Levels of DHEA tend to diminish with age and are usually very low in people suffering from depression, regardless of their age. In a well-documented study, it has been found that just 20 minutes of meditation can double DHEA levels. To find out more, come to one of our free introductory sessions.

  7. What is the cost of the course and what does it include?
The Course in Wellbeing includes ten 90-minute sessions, a comprehensive 150-page manual, a meditation CD and a full money back guarantee. It also gives you access to the friendly Inner Peace team if you have any questions regarding your meditation practice. Just give us a call on (03) 9894 5711 or email us at inquiries@innerpeace.com.au.
